The Professional Range of paddles are a new innovation. They utilise a unique new manufacturing method,
producing high quality, lightweight, stiff paddles. The computer generated diagram details the blade
profile.
Pro-range blades are constructed by placing 4 layers of interwoven glass fibres in a
specially designed mould, and injecting at 3000psi with a graphite filled polyurethane material.
These blades have exceptionally fine edges, reducing water resistance. They also offer superior durability to fibreglass
blades- which tend to wear excessively fast on contact with solid objects, i.e. rocks!
This is because the graphite filled/P.U. construction bounces rather than stopping dead and wearing.
The hollow core blades give exceptional stiffness; these characteristics, combined with a lively composite shaft,
make the Professional Range the ultimate choice for the discerning paddler.

Ainsworth canoe paddles are constructed using a range of tough ABS and polyurethane
materials. ABS plastic is used in junior paddles, resulting in bomb proof blades; a composite graphite filled/P.U.
material is used in C100 and C104 blades- to give extra floatation and hence maximum power and efficiency in each stroke.
